This program is for anyone who wants to expand on their knowledge of the healing art of Yoga.
Whether you plan to teach Yoga or simply have a desire to deepen your practice - please read on!

The full program is run as a series of modules over the course of 2 years, with option to join in at the beginning of every module.
Option for those simply wishing to deepen their understanding of Yoga (and not necessarily teach) to participate in any module of interest to you. ​Please note: For CYA-RYT200 certification, full program is 200 hrs.​

Yoga is for everyone! All levels of experience welcome to attend.​

Module 1.5 Exploring the Light Body - Our Energetic Anatomy (12 hours)
In this module we will:
-
Strengthen your journey of spiritual evolution through working with the Light body
-
Integrate knowledge of the Light body into your Yoga practice
-
Explore the Energetic Anatomy: the structure and function of the Five Pranas, Vayus (energic flows), Koshas (layers of being), Nadis (energic pathways)
-
Deepen knowledge of the seven main Chakras (energy centers)
-
Learn how to detect and clear Energy blockages
-
Practice Yoga Techniques that promote harmony and balance to our Energy Body (Bandhas, Mudras, Sound Healing, Mantra, Asana, Pranayama, Meditation)
Module 1.1 Understanding Asana (36 hrs)
This module includes:

in-depth study of 20 main yoga postures
-
theoretical, anatomical and energetic composition
-
principles of alignment
-
sanskrit terminology for each posture
-
origin, purpose and benefits of the posture
-
modifications and alternative postures
-
contradictions
Module 1.2 Therapeutic Yoga (15 hrs)
This module includes:​

specific yoga poses that aid in healing certain situations such as arthritis, scoliosis, injuries, back, hip, shoulder, neck, headaches, etc.
-
pose modifications, alternative postures, and hands on adjustments
-
yoga props and other healing tools
-
pregnancy/post natal yoga
-
yoga for mental health
-
trauma-informed yoga
Module 1.3 Pranayama (12 hrs)
This module includes:​​

​traditional pranayama practices that bring balance and harmony to our mind-body-spirit
-
accessible and simple breathing practices to enhance your daily life and your personal yoga practice
-
theory and practice of different breathing techniques to calm and steady the mind, regulate the nervous system, or energize and awaken
-
the powerful effect breathing has on all levels of the body, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually
-
coordinating the breath with posture and movement
-
understanding of prana and the physiology of subtle energies
-
anatomical systems involved in and affected by the breath
Module1.4 Meditation and Mindfulness (15 hours)

Learn how to incorporate meditation and mindfulness into your everyday life to improve your health and happiness.

Explore a variety of Meditation and Mindfulness practices to build a strong personal practice

Develop tools to calm the mind, to heighten self-awareness and delve deeper within to gain clarity and insight about the Self

Learn about the history and foundations of Meditation

Feel confident in maintaining your own practices and guiding others
